In the credits of some of the episodes of Chowder, there are puppet shows. None of them have to do with the episode(s). Some puppets even appear on the show. In some episodes, puppets don't appear in the credits or at all.
The segments first started out as sketches of Chowder and Mung trying to make a dish, which usually ended with the line "You don't know what you're missing... When you aren't in the kitchen!" Later in Season 1, the puppet segments were changed to be comedic sketches, and puppets of other characters were introduced, such as Shnitzel, Truffles, Gazpacho, and Panini.
A puppet of C. H. Greenblatt was featured in "Shnitzel Quits" (pictured).
